Course Details
- Course duration along with placement : 4 months ( 17 days course at college, Application of Passport, Visa, CDC, Joining On Ship)
- Eligibility : 10th pass with 50 percent in English.
- Age: 18-25 years
Exams : online through DG Shipping, Government Of India - Career Progression Plan :- 3 Departments : Deck, Engine, Catering
- Initial joining for onboard training : Deck – Trainee, Engine – Trainee, Catering – Trainee
- Stipend : 10k to 15k during training
- Training period : 15 months done in 2 contracts
After 15 months candidate will get watchkeeping certificate and will get promotion.
Salary will be approx:- 50k to 70 k
After 36 months salary: 1 lakh
After 36 months candidate can give exam for officer and if clear will be promoted on rank of officer and will get salary 2 lakh to 3 lakh.
